My journey to teaching began many, many moons ago.

i don’t remember how i discovered yogA. only that i was 18 when i did. and i couldn’t tell you what drew me to my very first class in 2008 either. only that once i landed in one, i never stopped.

for me, the experience of yoga became a window inside of myself.

living yoga on and off my mat.

in january 2019, i finally took the leap to officially learn how to teach, studying under my beautiful, generous teachers sam breschi and catherine zack of the daily Vinyasa. Under them, i have completed 400-hours of certified yoga training under the yoga alliance.

My teaching philosophy is very simple: be where you are. seek the stillness. love thyself.

YOGA is an endless quest of self-learning and undoing.

the practice of yoga is a way to connect with ourselves, to learn how to develop and deepen the relationship between our minds and our bodies.

it can sometimes feel (If we allow it) as if we are peeling back layers of ourselves to get to the core of who we are. an undoing of all that came before the present moment we are in. yogA can serve as an opportunity to cultivate compassion for ourselves. We learn to recognize the shifts and subtleties of our every day living experience.

yoga can lead us to a coming home within ourselves.

STill + Free was born in the summer of 2018 after hiking through bryce canyon national park. The quiet of the mountains filled my heart. each step grounded me as i climbed higher. i hadn’t even begun teacher training yet, but i knew someday that moment would arrive.

and indeed it has.

the words of that beautiful state, ‘Life elevated’ have stayed with me ever since. may we experience them here together.

thank you for arriving. thank you for landing here. i’m so grateful you did.

Let’s see where this journey will go.
